Canada’s biomanufacturing sector is on the rise—yet faces a looming shortage of 16,000 skilled workers by 2029.1 CASTL’s Elevate program is helping to turn this challenge into opportunity by preparing under-employed Canadians, including newcomers and youth, with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to launch meaningful careers.

In just six weeks, Elevate delivers industry-driven learning, hands-on GMP training, and tailored career support—equipping participants to step directly into job-ready technician roles. The results speak for themselves: more than 240 graduates trained, 50% employed in biomanufacturing within six months, and over 25 employers nationwide already hiring Elevate alumni.

Elevate is more than training—it’s a proven model for building the talent Canada’s life sciences sector needs to thrive.
