Montreal’s Biomanufacturing Training Facility

Opened in 2023, the modern pilot-scale bioprocessing equipment at the Montreal CASTL Biomanufacturing Training Facility will enable trainees to acquire useful skills that are instantly applicable to the processes and workflows involved in biomanufacturing. The facility is furnished with labs and a classroom designed to provide the best possible biomanufacturing training. The facility replicates the manufacturing methods used to produce vaccinations, viral vectors, monoclonal antibodies, and other cGMP biopharmaceutical products.

Montreal’s training facility is located between Plateau Mont-Royal and Vieux-Rosemont boroughs. After a long training day, strolling through the popular local boutiques and coffee shops in both neighborhoods would be a wonderful way to recharge - the famous Olympic Stadium is only a ten minute bike ride away.

How to get there?

From the airport, take the 747 bus straight to downtown Montreal. Then, take the metro to the Préfontaine station on the Green Line towards Honoré-Beaugrand. From there, it's a 14 minute walk to the facility. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Préfontaine station directly to the facility.
