  • Process designers
  • MSAT engineers

Key Topics

  • TFF operations, technologies and applications
  • Initial product and parameter selection
  • Transmembrane pressure control strategy
  • Permeate flow control strategy
  • Process development for single pass TFF

Speaker

Roman Kondra, Senior Scientist, Cytiva

Roman Kondra is a Senior Scientist on Cytiva’s MSAT field team, where he partners with customers across North America to support process optimization, troubleshooting, and scale-up evaluations. With over a decade of experience in purification, Roman is a subject matter expert in tangential flow filtration (TFF) and has deep expertise in RNA filtration workflows. His recent work includes testing and optimizing next-generation filtration membranes for lipid nanoparticle (LNP) applications, helping advance the development of mRNA-based therapeutics. Roman holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph, where he conducted research on Wnt signaling pathways.
