Summary
The Training Administrator will support the effective delivery and operation of CASTL’s Biomanufacturing Training Facility by coordinating, managing, and administering processes, systems, and record management related to academic and industry training programs. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients, balancing multiple tasks, and communicating professionally with both internal and external parties.
The Training Administrator will serve as the face of the organization for clients and trainees arriving at our Biomanufacturing Training Facility in Charlottetown. They will also represent the organization as a point of contact for external service providers and vendors. Strong customer service, organizational, time management, and communication skills will be essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for all individual trainees, directing inquiries to trainers and management.

Facilitate the registration and client service processes for trainees.

Collaborate closely with Training and Client Services teams to organize, manage, and maintain the training schedule for both the Biomanufacturing Training Facility in Charlottetown and virtual training delivery across industry and academic streams.

In collaboration with trainers, cleaning staff, and others, ensure that the classroom, meeting room, and office spaces are presentable for guests.

Provide administrative support for purchasing and maintaining inventory of training and facility consumables.

Maintain, distribute, modify, and document materials that support effective training, including consent forms, waivers, certificates of completion, training schedules, and printed resources for trainees.

Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, keeping detailed records for audit and reporting purposes.

Administer and support the PEI Bioscience Reskilling Program.

Act as the primary point of contact and Learning Management System Administrator for the CASTL BioInnovation Scientist Program by:

Completing registrations

Generating reports

Tracking usage

Providing end-user support

Liaising with platform partners where applicable

Support the training team by documenting processes and conducting trainer evaluations.

Maintain the training documentation library, ensuring proper translations of curriculum and practical documents as needed.

Collaborate with trainers to address specific training challenges. Maintain a strong working knowledge of e-learning techniques.

Serve as a central communication hub for training initiatives with other departments.

Coordinate the scheduling of training and preparation of related materials.

Organize outside resources to support business and training needs.

Prepare and distribute training manuals, handouts, guides, and visual aids.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or customer service
