The Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences (CASTL), a national initiative to address the future skills needs of the fast-growing biomanufacturing sector, has launched its 2025 Training Course Catalogue.

CASTL, in partnership with BioTalent Canada and Future Skills Centre (FSC), is pleased to share preliminary findings from its recent market survey, Identifying the Technical Skills and Training Needed to Advance Canadian Biomanufacturing. 

BCIT and CASTL, in partnership with the Province of BC and the Government of Canada, are revolutionizing life sciences training in British Columbia with the first-of-its-kind BC Biomanufacturing Training Facility. 

CASTL is pleased to partner with STERIS, a leading provider of infection prevention and other procedural products and services, to offer a master class course in Applied Cleaning Validation this fall in Charlottetown, PE.

CASTL launches the next two cohorts of the PEI Bioscience Reskilling Program. 

Together with the Future Skills Centre, the Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences has launched a national biomanufacturing skills and training study to gather critical labour market information and future training priorities specific to Canadian biomanufacturing.
